How TrustParcel works

Parcels, peer-to-peer.
Safe by design.

TrustParcel connects people sending parcels with travelers already going the same way. Stripe escrow holds the money, delivery codes verify the handover, and reviews keep everyone honest. Here's the full journey on both sides.

If you're sending a parcel

Step 1

Post your parcel

Describe what you're sending, pickup & delivery cities, the date you need it there, and an indicative price. We never collect the recipient's contact details upfront — you'll share those in chat once the deal is confirmed.

Step 2

Receive offers from travelers

Travelers on your route can send you offers. You can accept, decline, or counter — all from the chat. Take a moment to look at the traveler's reviews and verifications before accepting.

Step 3

Pay to lock the deal

Once you accept an offer, you pay through Stripe. Your funds are held safely in escrow — they're only released to the traveler after delivery is confirmed.

Step 4

Share the delivery code

TrustParcel gives you a 6-digit delivery code. Give it to the recipient (not the traveler!) — they'll hand it to the traveler at delivery, which is how the system verifies the handover.

Step 5

Confirm delivery

When the parcel arrives, confirm in-app to release payment to the traveler. If you forget, funds are auto-released after a short grace period.

If you're carrying a parcel

Step 1

Browse parcels on your route

Search for parcels going where you're already traveling. Filter by date, weight, and price. Send an offer when you find a good fit.

Step 2

Verify your identity once

To accept paid deliveries, complete Stripe onboarding (ID + bank account) in a single 5-minute session. This is required by EU regulations and protects both sides.

Step 3

Negotiate & lock the deal

When the sender accepts your offer, the deal is locked the moment they pay. Coordinate pickup details in chat.

Step 4

Confirm pickup with a photo

When you collect the parcel, take a photo and tap "Confirm Pickup". The deal moves to "In Transit" and the sender is automatically notified.

Step 5

Carry & deliver

Keep the sender updated during transit. You can post short status notes — they show in chat so the sender always knows where things stand.

Step 6

Ask for the code at handover

When you meet the recipient, ask them for the 6-digit code. Enter it in the app to verify the handover — this is what triggers payout release.

Underlying principles

Money is always held safely

Stripe holds the funds from the moment the sender pays until delivery is confirmed. Disputes freeze the funds — never the people.

Reviews build the community

After every completed deal, both sides leave a short review. Your rating is what makes future deals easier.

Everything is visible in chat

Lifecycle events (paid, picked up, handed over, completed) auto-post as system messages so the whole story lives in one thread.
